Basic Skin Care Advice

While the shelves labeled beauty care are laden with various types of products to help you with your skin, the confusions in choosing the right product become various too, here is a basic skin care advice. So the best bet would be to choose the brand new entrant on the shelf, but is there something even new and better that you recently saw on the tube?!. And then, we torment ourselves with the ‘whether this will suit my skin type’ decision which is the toughest to make followed by the value-benefit-promise check before you can finally get yourself to try and test this new concoction.

True? Maybe. But there is an important thing to know when we deal with our skin. It is not a surface to try and test various formulations for the benefit of experiments in the pursuit of beauty. Smartness lies not in believing the promises of the product and experimenting for experiments sake but understanding the true type and texture of your skin and caring for it wisely. Why? For the health and longevity of the shield that helps you represent yourself.

Apart from using tidbits of skin care advice, we also need to incorporate in our skin care regimen a few tools that will always help the skin feel and look healthy. Here are a couple of basic forms of skincare, be sure to choose the best for your skin:

Skin Care Advice:

  • Cleansers, Toners, Moisturizers and Conditioners- make them a part of your skincare regime.
  • Sunscreens. - It protects the skin from any form of sun damage, wrinkles, sunburns or rashes. It's a must. If you use only one product, sunscreen should be it. With Sunscreens that contain SPF (protects the skin), (AHAs) Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (smoothes the skin) and Vitamin C – you can be sure the skin is being taken good care of.
  • Body lotion: A lotion to pamper and smoothen the body including hands, feet, arms, and legs.
  • Facials: Facials help moisturize and massage the skin. Homemade facials are good quick fix solutions to pamper the skin with almost no side effects. For egs: Applying a homemade facemask of almonds and honey helps restore moisture.

Apart from external help and topical application the skin could do much better with some effort for the system. Exercise, Facial massage and a healthy diet regime can complement your skincare routine and help the skin look healthy and nourished always.
